We usually reply within two working days.

Email us at [email protected]. It helps to include your iPhone model, iOS version and the Acroa version (Profile, at the bottom). Please don't attach recordings unless we ask.

Recording

How long can I record? Up to 12 hours in one recording. Acroa saves it in 15-minute parts, so if your phone shuts down you keep everything up to the last few minutes.

Recording stopped when I got a call. iOS pauses the microphone during calls. Acroa resumes by itself when the call ends and marks the gap in the transcript. If it stays paused, open Acroa and tap resume.

Acroa can't use the microphone. Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone and turn on Acroa.

I got a storage or battery warning. Long recordings need space. Free up storage, or plug in, and keep recording. Setting Profile → Keep audio to “Delete after transcript” keeps Acroa small.

Transcripts and summaries

My transcript is still processing. Parts upload when you have a connection. If you were offline, open Acroa once you're back online and the queue picks up where it left off.

Names or terms are spelled wrong. Go to Profile → Transcription and add them to your list of names and terms. You can also set the language you speak there instead of letting Acroa detect it. New recordings use them right away.

A summary got something wrong. AI summaries can make mistakes, so check anything important against the transcript. You can edit any summary, and Acroa keeps your edits.

Hours and purchases

How are hours counted? By the length of audio transcribed. Imported text counts at 150 words per minute and costs half. Hours never expire.

I ran out of hours mid-recording. Acroa keeps recording. Top up and the rest is transcribed automatically.

My purchase didn't add hours. Go to Profile and tap Restore purchases. If that doesn't fix it, email us with the date and the order id from your App Store receipt.

Refunds. Apple handles payments and refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your data

Where are my recordings? Only on your iPhone. We can't recover them if the app is deleted or your phone is lost, so export anything you want to keep elsewhere.

Moving to a new iPhone. Acroa data comes across when you restore your new iPhone from a backup of the old one.

I deleted a recording by mistake. Go to Library → Recently Deleted and tap Recover. Deleted recordings stay there for 30 days, then they're removed from your iPhone for good.

Exporting. Open a recording and use Share to copy or export the transcript, the summaries or the original audio.

Deleting your account

  1. Open Acroa and go to Profile.
  2. Tap Delete Acroa Data & Revoke Access and confirm.

Your hours balance, purchase history and everything Acroa stored on your iPhone are deleted, and this iPhone is signed out of Acroa. Unused hours aren't refunded. Your Directive LLC login and other Directive LLC apps are not affected.

Can't open the app? Email [email protected] from the address you sign in with and we'll do it for you. See the privacy policy for what is kept for accounting.
